What You'll Do
Provide Active Rehabilitation services, including functional assessments, exercise prescription, and progress reporting for clients recovering from injury (e.g. ICBC-funded).
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to deliver movement-based rehabilitation programs tailored to client needs.
Support return-to-work and insurer-funded rehabilitation programs, under clinical direction.
Educate clients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and self-management strategies.
Deliver community-based rehabilitation in clients' homes, workplaces, and community settings.
Offer services to private clients seeking rehabilitation, mobility, and strength programs.
What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology (or equivalent).
Membership with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK).
Experience in a related field is preferred; recent graduates with practicum or placement experience are welcome to apply.
Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 certification (or higher).
Residency in Kamloops or the surrounding area.
Reliable vehicle and ability to travel within Kamloops and nearby communities year-round.
Kamloops and Inter-Community Business License (or willingness to obtain).
Professional Liability Insurance.
