Kinesiologist



Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Kinesiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human movement and rehabilitation, with a focus on patient care. This role involves working closely with patients to assess their physical abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic exercises to improve their overall health and well-being. The Kinesiologist will also collaborate with healthcare professionals in a hospital setting to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Implement therapeutic exercise programs to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical function. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions and rehabilitation processes. Maintain accurate electronic medical records for all patient interactions and treatments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care. Utilize computer software (Jane and Word) for documentation and communication purposes. Manage time effectively to ensure all patients receive appropriate attention during their sessions.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field; relevant certifications preferred. Experience in pediatrics is a plus but not required. Proficiency in electronic medical records management. Strong computer operation skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Word. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple patients efficiently. Bilingual abilities, particularly in Mandarin,Cantonese or any other language are highly desirable. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and support.

Pay: $45.00-$70.00 per hour
