Leaf Rapids Education Centre is a modern well-equipped Nursery to Grade 12 school located 230 km from Thompson. Leaf Rapids features an abundance of hiking trails and fishing spots. The community services are in a central building fostering a great community spirit. The Town Centre houses the school, medical centre, theatre, gymnasium and shopping.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for) A sound knowledge of Manitoba Early Years curricula Previous Early Years teaching experience A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology Strong classroom management skills Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life Experience working in a northern community Experience working with students with unique needs A commitment to differentiated instruction A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn Self-motivated
