Faculty/Department Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies Unit KHS - Sessionals Employee Group URFA CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Sessional Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary
This course introduces students to the University of Regina and Faculty of KHS community, culture, services and opportunities. The course focuses on a variety of approaches to reading, writing, and researching with the intent to develop the student's overall communication skills. Emphasis is placed on critical thought and effectively communicating well-developed ideas when writing research papers, and how to formulate, organize and present meaningful academic arguments.
Position Requirements
A graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in an area appropriate for the course (ie. Kinesiology). Courses in the subject area at a graduate or undergraduate level from an accredited post-secondary institution we would consider transfer credit from are required. Demonstrated, relevant work experience will be considered an asset.
Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Other Work Hours
The class is scheduled in-person, on campus, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:30am-10:20am.
