New Hope Community Church is seeking a Kids Pastor who is enthusiastic about connecting kids with God, and each other, in fun and creative ways! This full-time career opportunity is designed for candidates with prior experience who love to see families connect, learn together, and thrive in their faith journey! The Kids Pastor is responsible for the oversight and direction of New Hope's Kids Ministry including the development of volunteers, and the safe operation of our Sunday morning Kids ministry.

The specifics of the job description entail creating a culturally relevant environment that would be fun and engaging for children. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to grow the community, and connect in meaningful ways with kids, parents, and volunteers. A passionate attitude, and sense of vision for seeing children connect with God is vital for this ministry.

Must exemplify the leadership and character qualities of 1 Timothy 3, being fully aligned with the message, mission, and strategy of New Hope to reach people in the community Ability to cast vision, team build and inspire leaders Energetic, fun-loving and self-motivated with the spiritual maturity to support the growth of a vibrant Kids Ministry Leadership capability with kids and a love and understanding of children A clear ability to communicate.

Responsibilities

Leads the team that provides Sunday morning Children's programs Coordinates our Kids Night Out mid-week event for kids in our community Trains all leaders and builds all of the volunteer teams in Kids Ministry Designs and coordinates our summer camp for Kids Chooses the Kids curriculum in conjunction with the vision and mission of New Hope Work every Sunday and Tuesday, with the remainder of the weeks' hours more varied based on programs in place

Qualifications/Salary

Pastoral training through a recognized Bible college or seminary preferred Training in Early Childhood Education will also be considered Salary will be based on education, previous ministry and work experience
