Jane's Cannabis Shop is a family operated, Cannabis retailer in Aurora, Ontario. We are currently seeking an experienced Keyholder who can work with us and assist the Retail Store Manager. We are looking for a Keyholder who will be dynamic and diligent to help us create a healthy and safe environment for our employees and customers. We are looking for a highly motivated and career driven individual with vast knowledge of the Cannabis industry.

Hours of Work:

Jane's Cannabis Shop operates in an extended-hours retail environment. This position requires flexibility in scheduling. You must be available to work both morning and evening shifts, with regularly scheduled weekend work. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays and may vary based on business needs.

Responsibilities

: Provide assistance to store management in supervising and facilitating the daily operations of the store. Oversee the responsibilities of the Store Manager in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Support key personnel management while on shift and address customer service issues as they arise. Provide clear direction, guidance, and instruction to all store associates as required. Ensure store conditions are consistently maintained to established company standards. Assist, when requested, in ensuring staffing levels adequately meet business needs.

Act as the sales and customer service leader and role model in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Greet and assist customers in a manner that demonstrates exemplary conduct and professionalism for other staff to follow. Ensure all company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation are consistently adhered to and upheld by all team members. Handle customer complaints and concerns, escalating to management when appropriate.

Ensure all health, safety, and security regulations are followed and required standards are met during each shift. Support the achievement of sales targets and store-level KPIs by ensuring employees on shift are actively engaged in pursuing sales goals. Oversee and assist with inventory management and maintain accountability for inventory processes while on shift.

Qualifications Required

:

Provincial required age minimum, 19 years +

Valid

CannSell Certification

required to work in a retail cannabis store Must have, or be able to successfully complete, a

Police / Criminal Background Check

Demonstrated sales and customer service orientation Minimum of

2 years of retail work experience

required; cannabis retail experience is considered an asset Excellent time management and prioritization skills Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and motivate staff Ability to monitor performance and lead by example Basic office administration skills High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail technology Strong teamwork and team-building skills Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels of the organization Strong customer service, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills A well-developed sense of diplomacy and professionalism Thorough understanding of applicable health and safety legislation Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude Ability to work flexible shifts based on business needs, Monday through Sunday Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
