We are looking for motivated customer-oriented individuals to join our growing team of cannabis retail sales staff - Budtenders. You will report to the Store Manager and Store owner. As Budtender, you will provide a high-quality customer experience. You understand what it means to be a brand ambassador for Weedjar, inside and outside of our stores.

Responsibilities:

Friendly, personable and customer-oriented Ability to provide exceptional service in all aspects of the sales floor: greeting customers, selling, product knowledge, operate cash, wrap/bag merchandise and restock Possesses an understanding and appreciation of marijuana products and culture. Is knowledgeable about trends and supports brand messaging Supports new hires through mentorship Works well with Team members Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, strong assessment and decision-making skills Provides insight to Weedjar Managers about customer experience and preferences Participates in ongoing staff education/training and through sharing of product knowledge Has a flexible schedule Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays Able to pick up shifts when asked, at any location as needed Able to travel to all Weedjar locations as needed

Qualifications:

You must be a Qualified Cannabis Worker in the province of Ontario to apply and be able to provide a current copy of the Ontario's

CannSell

certification including the Updated Program Requirements including the Mandatory Module on Edibles, Extracts, and Topicals at the time of application You must be able to provide a clean criminal background check prior to employment. Preferably minimum 2 years' experience in a Retail/Customer Service environment Experience in the Cannabis industry will be considered an asset First Aid/CPR, WHMIS and Worker's Health and Safety Awareness training will be considered an asset Additional on the Job Training, such standard operating procedures, store policies, brand awareness and knowledge - training will be provided Must be able to lift boxes 5 - 30 lbs Must be flexible with hours of work

Salary: $16.55-$17.00 per hour
