This position works with the ReStore Manager to lead the day to day operations for the ReStore in Wingham.
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Key Holder to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers while supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and enjoy working with the public. This position offers an opportunity to develop your managerial skills within a vibrant retail environment.
Duties
Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
Lead and motivate volunteers to achieve sales targets through effective coaching and support
Handle cashiering duties, including POS transactions, cash handling, and maintaining accurate records
Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are cleaned and priced
Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Accepting donations as they come in
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
Other duties as required
Be an ambassador for Habitat for Humanity
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, with excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math calculations
Ability to use Excel an asset
Social Media Experience
Experience with merchandising a bonus
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to lift 50lbs (assisted)
Must be able to work every other weekend
