Responsibilities
Assist in the management of store operations to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Supervise and train staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills for success in their roles.
Oversee merchandising efforts to create appealing product displays that drive sales.
Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
Conduct interviews and participate in the recruiting process to build a strong team.
Handle administrative tasks including budgeting, bookkeeping, and inventory management.
Maintain effective communication with team members to foster collaboration and resolve any issues promptly.
Implement marketing strategies to promote store events and increase foot traffic.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of store presentation.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role within a retail environment.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
Experience with training & development initiatives for staff members.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
Familiarity with sales management techniques, pricing strategies, and merchandising principles.
Strong math skills for budgeting and financial reporting purposes.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with professional phone etiquette.
