About the Role
We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Key Account Manager with a genuine passion for the health and wellness industry. This role is responsible for managing and growing strategic retail accounts, building long-term partnerships, and driving revenue through strong execution, collaboration, and customer insight.
The ideal candidate is both commercially savvy and mission-driven--someone who believes in the power of wellness products and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage a portfolio of key specialty retailers and FDM accounts
Drive sales growth through account planning, forecasting, and execution
Develop strong, trusted relationships with buyers, category managers, and stakeholders
Lead product launches, promotional planning, and sell-in strategies
Negotiate pricing, terms, programs, and promotional calendars
Analyze sales data, trends, and performance to identify growth opportunities
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Inside Sales to ensure seamless execution
Ensure accurate forecasting, demand planning, and inventory alignment
Represent the brand professionally at meetings, trade shows, and industry events
Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights
Skills & Qualifications
3-7+ years of sales or key account management experience (CPG, supplements, health & wellness preferred)
Strong understanding of retail, distribution, and wholesale sales models
Proven ability to grow accounts and manage complex customer relationships (Natural/Specialty Accounts & FDM Accounts)
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Analytical mindset with comfort using sales data and reporting tools
Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Passion for health, wellness, supplements, and consumer education
Nice to Have
Experience working with natural, grocery, pharmacy, specialty, or mass retail channels
Knowledge of supplement regulations, compliance, and claims (Canada or North America)
CRM experience
Background in nutrition, wellness, or functional health
