We chase the miracles of science every single day, pursuing progress to make a real impact on millions of patients around the world.The Key Account Specialist is a field-based position working closely with Hematologic Oncologists, as well as their staff (Nurses, Coordinators, etc.) as the Sanofi Oncology products and services expert. The Key Account Specialist plays a major role in demonstrating the importance of Sanofi products in the optimization of Multiple Myeloma treatments, and is responsible for the scientific exchange information and insights back to Sanofi regarding the treatment of Multiple Myeloma.

  • Achieve sales objectives and profitably manage territory budget/expenses
  • Develop and implement annual territory business plan based on market data and marketing plans. Ensure continuous follow-up and update the plan in response to changing market dynamics.
  • Work within Institutions at all levels to support acceptance and access to Sanofi products including management of all Formulary and budget decision making
  • Work with community-based specialists to facilitate peer to peer sharing of optimal treatment plans
  • Identify, profile, cultivate and maintain customer relationships and build advocacy within assigned territory
  • Implement regional OLA (Other Learning Activity) and other learning programs
  • Perform all required administrative duties. This includes all expense reports, marketing reports, and call reporting.
  • Work within the Sanofi regulatory and legal compliance guidelines.
  • Attend local, regional and national meetings to enhance your knowledge of Sanofi products related to Multiple Myeloma
  • Be willing and able to travel (Nationally and Internationally) approximately 50% of the time. Territory is SW Ontario and Manitoba.
About YouThe ideal candidate is highly motivated with a proven record in Oncology sales particularly within the Multiple Myeloma setting, superior business acumen, effective management of resources and ability to achieve or surpass corporate goals and sales objectives.
  • Earned Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years sales representative experience in the pharmaceutical industry that includes 2+ years specialty/oncology experience preferably to a melanoma treater audience
  • Demonstrated solution-oriented approach to selling with the ability to articulate value propositions
  • Leads by example and demonstrates high level of collaboration
  • Effectively develops and executes sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, and can work independently to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines
  • Ability to identify opportunities to achieve superior sales results, and exhibits superior persuasion and negotiation skills to win commitment
  • Possess excellent technical aptitude and the ability to conduct disease/concept selling
  • Understanding of local managed markets (public and private) and institutional/hospital environments
  • Possess excellent planning and organizational skills, and demonstrate superb written, verbal and presentation skills
