The Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic is looking for a trustworthy, dependable individual to join our team as a kennel/boarding attendant. This position is very important to the smooth flow in the treatment area of the clinic. During business hours, the Kennel/Boarding Attendant is responsible for assisting our Veterinary Assistants and Veterinary Technologists who are responsible for assisting Veterinarians in evaluating, treating and general care of patients. Some of these responsibilities include making sure that the exam rooms are cleaned and stocked after each appointment, cleaning kennels and runs during patient stay and after a patient leaves,walking and feeding patients as per Dr's directions, laundry, dishes and taking care of our boarded animals. On the weekends, they are responsible for taking care of our boarded animals; taking them for walks, feeding, playing and spending time with them, cleaning runs and kennels, doing laundry, washing dishes, filing and overall clinic cleanliness. Must be comfortable and able to safely handle equine boards as well.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
