At Speeders, we love to race. We're the first indoor electric go-karting facility in Canada, and for over 11 years, we've been delivering an exhilarating and safe racing experience to racers of all skill levels.


We offer many types of racing including drop-in racing, group and corporate events. Our goal is to provide a safe, family-oriented, social environment where individuals can enjoy themselves while learning some new skills behind the wheel.

The Opportunity:




We use electric go-karts, on a Multi-level racetrack, the next level of thrilling entertainment in go kart racing. Our facility offers many forms of exciting entertainment for all ages! By using electric karts there are no exhaust fumes and no smells, making our workplace warm and clean.


SPEEDERS is currently accepting applications for full time kart technicians.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform routine daily inspections and repairs. Diagnose, service and repair karts throughout the day. Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating, alignments, brake adjustments, tire replacements. Keep accurate documentation using Inventory and fleet management Software. Responsibly maintain inventory of tools and equipment. Respond to emergency situations as they arise. Ensure that the kart shop and karts remain clean, organised and safe. Assist the track crew with track operations in limited situations. Complete daily reports on the work being completed and other findings on the condition of the go-kart fleet during inspections. Participate in scheduled meetings. Perform specific facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by management. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Qualifications and requirements for this position:



Able to read and interpret documents such as daily checklists, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Coordinate and communicate well with other kart technicians and managers. Competently and safely use a wide variety of hand and power tools. Previous mechanical experience is considered an asset. A high school diploma is preferred. Must be proficient in the use of a computer and computer diagnostics.

Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and on request for special events
