Step into the spotlight at Boom Karaoke, where music, fun, and great service come together! We're looking for an energetic Bartender & Guest Service Attendant who can mix creative drinks, greet guests warmly, and help keep our karaoke rooms running smoothly.

This is a multi-task position combining bartending, front-desk coordination, and room service duties. You'll handle guest check-ins, manage bookings, answer calls and emails, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable night.

What You'll Do

Mix & Serve Drinks: Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes while adding your creative touch. Guest Greeting & Check-In: Welcome guests, confirm reservations, and ensure a smooth arrival experience. Booking Management: Handle phone calls, emails, and online inquiries to arrange, confirm, or modify room bookings. Room Service: Deliver drinks and snacks to karaoke rooms promptly and with enthusiasm. Clean & Reset Rooms: Maintain a clean and organized environment in rooms, bar, and common areas between groups. POS & System Operation: Process bookings and orders through our POS system (no cash handling required). Promote & Upsell: Introduce guests to drink specials, packages, and promotions to enhance their experience. Team Collaboration: Support coworkers and assist with general operations as needed during busy shifts.

Basic Qualifications

Proven experience in bartending, hospitality, or customer service. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English (both spoken and written). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional attitude. Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment. Valid Smart Serve Ontario certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with POS or booking systems. Familiarity with food handling and basic room or event setup. Previous experience in karaoke, lounge, or entertainment venues. Team-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 15 per week
