Au sujet de cet emploi

Le commis offre une vaste gamme de services de soutien administratif et agit comme principale personne-ressource pour les clients du syst\xc3\xa8me judiciaire. Le commis re\xc3\xa7oit l\'argent vers\xc3\xa9 aux tribunaux, traite directement avec le public et en particulier avec les personnes qui se repr\xc3\xa9sentent elles-m\xc3\xaames en cour, entre et r\xc3\xa9cup\xc3\xa8re des donn\xc3\xa9es dans les syst\xc3\xa8mes automatis\xc3\xa9s, scrute, enregistre et traite les documents, tient \xc3\xa0 jour les syst\xc3\xa8mes de classement, se tient au courant des nouvelles lois et proc\xc3\xa9dures ou des modifications aux lois et proc\xc3\xa9dures, et travaille au sein d\'une \xc3\xa9quipe pour \xc3\xa9laborer des solutions li\xc3\xa9es aux nouveaux processus. Il peut \xc3\xa9galement devoir participer au tribunal comme commis-greffier pour l\'appel des causes, l\'affirmation ou l\'assermentation des t\xc3\xa9moins, des interpr\xc3\xa8tes et des traducteurs, et effectuer la saisie des donn\xc3\xa9es et des r\xc3\xa9sultats des audiences dans le syst\xc3\xa8me.

Pour r\xc3\xa9ussir dans cet emploi, vous avez quatre ann\xc3\xa9es d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience connexe ou une combinaison acceptable d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience connexe et de formation, avec une connaissance du syst\xc3\xa8me juridique. Une formation postsecondaire dans une discipline connexe, avec exp\xc3\xa9rience dans un environnement juridique, est un atout. De l\'exp\xc3\xa9rience et des comp\xc3\xa9tences dans un environnement automatis\xc3\xa9 et des habilet\xc3\xa9s en mati\xc3\xa8re de dactylographie, de traitement de texte et de saisie de donn\xc3\xa9es sont requises. De l\'exp\xc3\xa9rience dans le traitement d\'importantes sommes d\'argent et une bonne compr\xc3\xa9hension des principes de comptabilit\xc3\xa9 et de tenue de livres sont \xc3\xa9galement requises. About Our Opportunity

The Clerk, providing a broad range of administrative support, is the first contact person for clients of the court system. They will receive and balance monies paid into the court, deal directly with the public and in particular self-represented litigants, enter and retrieve data from automated systems, scrutinize, record and process documentation, maintain filing systems, monitor new/changing legislation and procedures and work as a team player to develop solutions to new processes. They also may attend court as a court clerk to call cases and swear or affirm witnesses, interpreters and translators and enter data and hearing results.

About You

To be successful in this position, you hold four years of related experience or an acceptable equivalent of related experience and training with exposure to the justice system. Post-secondary training in a related discipline with experience in a legal environment is an asset. Experience and competency in an automated environment with proficient and accurate typing, word processing and data entry skills is required. Experience in processing large amounts of money is essential, with a proven understanding of accounting/bookkeeping principles is also required. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a multifaceted and stressful environment, often in confrontational and sensitive situations. They must demonstrate sound judgment, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, strong interpersonal and communications skills are required. The Clerk must exercise a high level of confidentiality. Sound knowledge of the justice system and government services for referral purposes will be considered an asset. The successful candidate will provide services in English and French, therefore, fluency in English and basic conversational French is required.

Pay Grade: CL 18

Salary Range: $1,675.62 - $1,874.80 Bi-Weekly
