Junior To Intermediate Architectural Designer/technologist
Job Description
The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in all aspects of residential design, technical drawings and presentation drawings, and have enthusiasm to seamlessly join a small, friendly, respectful and innovative team. The candidate should have the following qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Experience in preparing residential working drawings \xc2\xb7 Advanced Autocad, Revit and Sketchup knowledge \xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of OBC / construction details relating to residential projects in Ontario \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to multi-task and coordinate efforts on multiple projects \xc2\xb7 Ability to deal directly with clients, contractors, product suppliers and other design professionals \xc2\xb7 Ability to understand impacts of design on other disciplines (interior design, mechanical, electrical, structural) \xc2\xb7 Interior design experience and interest is a strong asset Please include specific details as they relate to the above qualifications. Examples of residential project working drawings, details and sections are highly encouraged. While the ideal candidate will have extensive professional experience, new graduates with co-op experience and a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
