Overview

We are seeking a Junior Terminal Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be assisting in the operations at our liquid asphalt terminal, ensuring efficiency and safety in handling various materials. The schedule is Monday to Friday and one Saturday per month. THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION THAT WILL END IN DECEMBER AND PICK UP AGAIN IN MARCH.

Duties

- Operate and maintain equipment used in the transfer of materials from tank to tank and into tanker trucks
- Monitor and control terminal processes
- Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment functionality
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Coordinate with team members to optimize terminal operations

Skills

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Familiarity with logistic controllers
- Strong basic math skills for calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance
