1-3 years Canadian or international experience Equipment installation / build / maintenance / upgrade / decommission of telecommunications network infrastructure and site Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. Year-round, hands-on work on outdoor cell sites / data centres along with other indoor facilities Customers include - Bell, Rogers, Telus, Freedom, Nokia Experienced with general Telecom construction including installation of equipment, steel mounts, cabinets, fibre optic / data / power cable systems, cable tray, conduit, microwave, testing, batteries, grounding systems Good English skills both written and oral, ability to follow direction and work well within a team Prefer telecom [wireless / wireline experience] testing / commissioning / integration, working knowledge of safety standards and regulations, basic knowledge of electrical safety [paid health & safety training will be provided for new hires] Able to follow technical documents, blueprints and engineered drawings Valid drivers license and clean abstract required Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude for proficient use of power tools and equipment Full time hourly, vacation, benefits potential for rapid growth and promotion within the organization Starting pay rate $18 - $22 / hr dependent on experience
