We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented

Jr. Systems Software Analyst to join our Financial Systems team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the internal team by maintaining software systems, ensuring optimal performance in alignment with business needs.

Reporting to the Manager of Financial Systems, the successful candidate will, actively contribute to team goals and be available to support colleagues as required. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation like user manuals, training materials and support guides. You will collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to gather requirements and implement system improvements. You will also bring a basic understanding of financial accounting concepts to apply your knowledge in areas such as software and hardware configuration, upgrades and maintenance tasks. Being a dynamic individual, you will enjoy working in a busy "hands on" company environment.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Post-secondary education or certifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field coupled with 1-2 years of experience in a technical or analytical support role (internships and co-op placements included). Apply QA skills and assist in troubleshooting and implementing software solutions. Experience with SQL or other relational database query languages. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros). Ability to analyze existing IT infrastructure and network topography to assist in identifying inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Familiarity with dashboards and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Basic knowledge of system architecture, networking, or IT infrastructure. Experience in ETL processes and data migration. Understanding of SharePoint, and Power Apps is a nice to have. Experience or interest in API concepts and cybersecurity is a nice to have. Strong time management, ticket management, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to apply strong communication and active listening skills to understand business needs and provide appropriate solutions. Experience in a support role with the understanding of the importance of what it means to deliver exceptional service. A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Be flexible and open to wearing multiple hats, learning new tools, technologies, and responsibilities as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
