TLC Pharmaceutical Standards Ltd. specializes in the custom synthesis of complex organic compounds for use as reference standards by the bio-medical and pharmaceutical industries around the world. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers and the overall community by providing the highest quality reference standards that are accompanied by an extensive and complete certificate of analysis (COA). TLC offers over 20,000 certified reference standards from stock and we add approximately 2000 new standards yearly. Our product line includes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), drug impurities, amino acid/peptide drug standards, metabolite standards, as well as their stable isotope labelled analogues. We are looking for an Intern Junior Synthetic Chemist who will be able to perform chemical inventory and glassware reorganization, perform some simple organic reactions, purifications, and characterization under the supervision of lab chemists. Overview We are looking for an Intern Junior Synthetic Chemist to join our team through the period of May-August 2023. The hours of work are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday (40hrs/week). The location of the internship is TLC Pharmaceutical Standards Ltd, Newmarket. This is a paid full-time internship. Salary is commensurate of experience. Requirements

• Currently completed their 3rd year of university studies.
• BSc in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, applied chemistry, or related field.
• Team player who possesses excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Familiar with MS Office (Word and Excel).
