Junior Structural Engineer - Bridges & Buildings

All Locations (Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer)



LEX3 Engineering is actively seeking Junior Structural Engineers to join our growing team of engineering and technical specialists, translating conceptual ideas to real world engineering projects. Positions are available on our Bridges and Buildings teams.

In this role, you can expect to be involved in some or all of the following tasks:

Design & Technical Work Design and assessment of bridges and transportation structures Design and assessment of building structures Hydrotechnical analysis Performing a variety of design assignments using independent judgment; Project Coordination Communicating with project team and project managers Report preparation Construction Support Construction contract preparation Construction contract administration Construction supervision/inspection

Our successful candidate will have:



Graduated from an accredited Bachelor of Engineering program Eligibility for registration with APEGA as an EIT or P.Eng. 0 to 4 yrs of relevant experience in bridge or building structures project work. New grads are welcome to apply, although some experience in a previous position, co-op term, or summer employment will be considered an asset.

Time commitment:

full time, permanent position (40 hours per week).

Location:

Red Deer, Edmonton, or Calgary offices. Our flexible work environment allows employees to work from home up to two days per week, with in-office collaboration encouraged for mentorship and team development.
