Job Description

Alteo is looking for a Junior SRE for a permanent position based in Montreal.Your main role will be to participate to the smooth running and optimization of operations (payment industry), by recommending the implementation of methodological and technical solutions, while ensuring compliance with processes and regulations.Responsibilities:

• Participate to the definition of procedures to ensure service performance

• Participate to the study and analysis of electronic payment platform requirements
• Participate to the analysis of operating constraints
• Participate to the industrialization of production and implementation of the business resumption plan
• Participate to the definition and implementation of procedures
• Participate to the drafting of qualification and patch testing procedures
• Participate to customer support in order to meet availability and reliability commitments

• Participate to the handling and processing of requests and incidents
• Participate to the definition of production release requirements
• Participate to managing relations between customers and editors/service providers
• Participate to the production of activity reports
• Participate to drawing up maintenance action plans
• Participate to the definition of service tasks: alarms, scheduling, backups and planning of processing (Batch)
• Participate to user support in order to guarantee the processing of reported anomalies

• Participate to technical support for users (2nd and 3rd levels)
• Participate to the timely response to operating incidents (e.g. analysis, diagnosis and resolution)
• Participate to the anticipation of user needs and system evolutions
• Participate to technical documentation
• Participate to the follow-up of operating incidents, by analyzing causes and taking associated corrective measures.

Profile:

• DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent
• 0-3 years' experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with the electronic payment industry (an important asset)
• Unix server
• Databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL...)
• Batch and Shell scripting
• File transfer station (CFT, SFTP...)
• International network platforms (e.g. Edit Package Visa, Master Com...)
• Scheduling tools (e.g. AUTOMIC, $UNIVERS...)

• Participer xc3xa0 l'intervention sous contraintes de dxc3xa9lais lors des incidents dxe2x80x99exploitation (e.g. analyse, diagnostic et rxc3xa9solution)
• Participer xc3xa0 l'anticipation des besoins des utilisateurs et les xc3xa9volutions du systxc3xa8me
• Participer xc3xa0 la documentation technique
• Participer au suivi des incidents dxe2x80x99exploitation, en analysant les causes et prenant les mesures correctives associxc3xa9es

Profil:

• DEC/BAC en IT ou l'xc3xa9quivalent
• 0-3 annxc3xa9es d'expxc3xa9rience dans un rxc3xb4le similaire
• Familier avec l'industrie de la monxc3xa9tique (atout important)
