Role & Responsibilities




The Junior Social Media & Copywriting Specialist is an entry-level position at Dreww. In this support role, you will assist our team of social media and content creation specialists with all aspects of our social media strategies with a particular focus on copywriting tasks in both English and in French. As a Junior Specialist, you will work on client accounts under the guidance of a Specialist who leads these accounts. Our goal is for a Junior Specialist to advance to the Specialist level within 6-12 months of starting your role.

As a Junior Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting in the following ways:Engage with online communities by replying to comments and direct messages across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. Write copy in both English and French for organic social media posts, paid social media ads, email newsletters, press releases, blog posts, video transcripts, etc. Assist in developing, researching, and writing short-form video content ideas. Assist in developing, researching, and writing content for paid social media ads. Provide support during video shoots, both on location and in the studio. Assist in maintaining client content calendars and publishing content. Assist in configuring ads on Meta and TikTok. Assist in weekly client meetings by taking notes and providing updates. Assist in compiling data and building reports for clients. Provide general support to Specialists and other team members. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:



Degree in marketing, communications, or relevant coursework is a plus. 6-12 months of experience in social media or marketing, ideally through internships or entry-level roles. Fully bilingual in French and English, with advanced writing skills in both languages. Experience working with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube). Strong at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
