SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a

Junior Service Engineer

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of light assembly and calibration tasks. ATEQ Canada will provide all the training needed. The ideal candidate must be able to clearly follow instructions, pay strong attention to detail, have good troubleshooting and organizational skills, speak fluent English and work well with others.

Primary Responsibilities

Light assembly & calibration of new instruments Quality Control of ATEQ products before shipping to customers Maintains manual and computerized filing for records/documents Perform modifications according to customer specifications Service ATEQ products coming in for repairs Keep documentation of all the above Answer service-related phone calls from customers Troubleshoot over the telephone as much as possible to avoid travel or return of the instrument Travel to customer facilities as required Assist Sales staff with testing and application evaluations Partial responsibility of shipping and receiving department Stock organisation and management Be a good ambassador of the company. Quite often the customer service and technical support make the difference. Repeat orders depend on these attributes.

Skills and Experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical understanding Must have good written and oral communication skills Customer service skills in person, on phone and via email Work effectively both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision

Key Competencies

Good computer skills Bilingual English / French would be an asset Excellent technical background Valid Ontario Driver's license Possesses good organizational skills.

Compensation:

Salary $50k to $60k depending on qualifications, paid monthly Expenses during business travel 100% covered Benefits as per our group plan
