Duties will include:

Greet guests in the restaurant in a warm and friendly manner Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism Setting up the service line, ensuring all items necessary for service are in place and in good working order Delivering food to the guest in their correct seat numbers Describe dishes correctly and answer guests' questions when prompted Monitoring table paces and reporting back to the expeditor Interpret cues from guests, ensuring orders are not rushed or delayed Ensure cleanliness of all china, cutlery and glassware Communicating information from the servers to the expeditors, ensuring guest request, changes or modifications are relayed accurately to chef Polishing silverware Assisting with clearing and setting tables Assist with setup and take down of banquets and functions Record, enter, and deliver room service orders Serve food, refill water, provide wine service, and attend to guest requests during banquets and functions Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar caliber establishment is preferred but not required Knowledge of SilverWare POS system an asset Must be comfortable working independently as well as with a team Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor at all times High attention to detail and exceptional guest service skills Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays Valid Serving-It-Right certificate (can be obtained prior to first shift)
