Adfast is currently seeking a Manufacturing Sales Representative in Toronto!
Our future sales representative?will focus on selling our adhesives and sealants to manufacturers of Doors & Windows, Transport vehicles, Architectural Panels, HVAC, Packaging, Filters and Mattresses, among others.?They will develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, spend significant time in production plants to better understand specific needs, and drive sales and growth in Ontario.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, Field-based, On the road

Main tasks and responsibilities:
Building and Maintaining Relationships:
Our future sales representative will build strong relationships with Manufacturers to understand their specific needs, recommend the best product to reach their goals, and ensure a smooth integration of our adhesives and sealants in their assembly process.??
Driving Sales Growth:
Our future sales representative will hunt for and identify new business opportunities and work to expand sales within Ontario.
Technical Expertise:
Our future sales representative will receive training and acquire a deep understanding of engineering and production processes in order to discuss product specifications in relation to manufacturing customer needs.?
Collaboration with Engineering and Product Teams:
Our future sales representative will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure that our sealants and adhesives meet the specific requirements of our manufacturing clients and integrate seamlessly into their systems.?
Travel:
90% customer-facing, in manufacturing plants. Our future sales representative may need to occasionally travel for trade shows and conferences.
Understanding Industrial Trends:
Our future sales representative will stay informed about the latest trends in the industrial sales market and how those trends might impact their clients.?
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Availability for daily regional travel (90%) and occasional overnight travel (10%)
Valid Driver's License
Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
Desired Skills:
High level of sales-driven entrepreneurship - Incumbent must think/operate with a "hunter" mindset
Experience in developing/executing tactical sales strategies designed to bolster regional sales growth
Competency with sales productivity tools (Salesforce CRM experience is a strong asset)
Strong organizational, time management, and territorial zoning skills - Creating/owning a monthly schedule
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
Exceptional prospecting & consultative selling skills - Ability to build/sustain strong customer relationships
Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to appreciate & embrace different personalities
Resilience, tenacity, and self-confidence when faced with challenging circumstances
Ability to thrive both autonomously and within a remote, cross-functional team environment (Sales, Service, Logistics, Marketing, R&D)
Excellent oral and written communication skills (presenter skills are an asset)
Polished, professional presentation and an ethical demeanor
Understanding of architectural specifications and construction design elements (an asset)
