Our primary focus is product supply, service, repaid and installation for automatic door and barrier free applications. We are an established Ontario based firm that has offices in Dundas and Ottawa, this role is to be filled at our Dundas location. Our materials include: \xc2\xb7 Automatic door operators and accessories \xc2\xb7 Electronic door hardware \xc2\xb7 Automatic sliding doors \xc2\xb7 Doors, frames, and their hardware components \xc2\xb7 Service and maintenance agreements \xc2\xb7 Automatic door sensors We are seeking an individual for the full-time position of \xe2\x80\x9cJunior Sales Representative/Project Coordination Specialist/Administrator\xe2\x80\x9d to become part of our sales and project team. The position will be a combination of active account management, growth with existing clients and new client development. About the opportunity: \xc2\xb7 Working with businesses and contractors to recommend our products and services utilizing effective sales skills \xc2\xb7 Find and develop new customers to grow territory sales \xc2\xb7 Assessing clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs and presenting suitable products or services \xc2\xb7 Utilizing internal product information and resources to grow new and existing accounts \xc2\xb7 Build positive long-term relationships with customers by providing an excellent customer experience \xc2\xb7 Work with team to monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback \xc2\xb7 Continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with the industry Customers: \xc2\xb7 General contractors \xc2\xb7 Door/frame/hardware suppliers \xc2\xb7 Commercial business end-users \xc2\xb7 Institutions (schools, hospitals, etc.) \xc2\xb7 Property management companies \xc2\xb7 Glazing companies Customer Service: Is the basis and foundation of everything we have accomplished. You will be demonstrating customer service to engage new and existing clients, gain the respect and trust of site contacts, site trades and Foremen. A full understanding and daily implementation of customer service is priority #1 within our company. The successful candidate should have: \xc2\xb7 Minimum of three years in an inside/outside sales position (preferred) \xc2\xb7 Minimum three years in construction (preferred) \xc2\xb7 Minimum two years in project coordination (preferred) \xc2\xb7 Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client retention \xc2\xb7 Effective communication skills and proven ability to establish rapport and maintain relationships \xc2\xb7 The ability and willingness to learn products and industry-specific knowledge \xc2\xb7 Strong presentation capabilities \xc2\xb7 Highly self-motivated \xc2\xb7 Proven ability to manage conflict, coupled by the ability to work collaboratively \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and time management skills \xc2\xb7 The ability to travel by car \xc2\xb7 Strong Microsoft skills (word, excel, etc.) A day in the life: Sales \xc2\xb7 Contacting identified industries and customers to secure new accounts (via phone, email and in person presentations) \xc2\xb7 Site visits to determine client needs prior to pricing \xc2\xb7 Tender reviews and take off preparation for assessment and quoting \xc2\xb7 Costing of projects in preparation for finalizing estimates \xc2\xb7 Submitting all quotations/bids in a timely manner to meet respective deadlines \xc2\xb7 Define project scope, goals, and deliverables for internal project coordinators to ensure successful execution of all projects \xc2\xb7 Assist project coordinators in regards to questions/issues that arise in order to keep scope of work on track and in budget \xc2\xb7 Be an active resource to clients and architectural/design firms regarding hardware specification requirements Project Coordination \xc2\xb7 Lead the planning and implementation of project \xc2\xb7 Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables \xc2\xb7 Define and allocate project tasks and resource requirements \xc2\xb7 Develop full scale project execution plans \xc2\xb7 Manage pre-determined project budget \xc2\xb7 Manage project resources \xc2\xb7 Schedule project timelines to align with customer and constructor requirements \xc2\xb7 Track project deliverables \xc2\xb7 Provide direction and support to Installation & Service Team \xc2\xb7 Quality assurance & quality control \xc2\xb7 Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders \xc2\xb7 Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions \xc2\xb7 Implement and manage project changes As the Project Coordinator, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of your project. Project Coordinators work with our technicians to clarify the scope of work and to assist in any site discrepancies. Ensuring your team is prepared and has the appropriate tools to be successful is required daily. Ensuring that the scope and direction of each project remains on schedule is the successful candidates\xe2\x80\x99 responsibility. Several other departments within our organization will be available for support. Administration: \xc2\xb7 Answering incoming calls *On occasion, overtime and irregular work hours may be required in order to meet the operational needs of the business* Required Skills and Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Must possess a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and be insurable under the company commercial fleet auto insurance (required) Attention to Detail: Your reporting details and ability to detect minor but influential details will be a daily requirement Time Management: You will be working with employees, constructors, customers, and management, often on multiple levels and on multiple projects Tracking and Budgeting: Project coordinators are expected to keep and maintain a budget on every project, budgetary hours are of the upmost expectation Software Ability: Exceptional abilities to work within Outlook, MS Office Suite in a Windows based environment. Organization Skills: You will be working on numerous multi-tiered and single-tiered projects, maintaining an organized work plan and tracking system will be required in order to maintain current knowledge of all project in progress including being well prepared for the projects in the immediate future. Do we offer training? We want to be honest; any candidate should be warned that they will have a large learning curve; we will dedicate as many resources as possible to ensure a successful transition into our industry and company. Our industry does not have regular accredited schooling or institutional certification, all training is provided in house. We do not expect to be training anyone on the fundamentals of customer service and Microsoft Suite software. Salary Potential: This position is open to both entry-level and experienced candidates. Starting salary will be negotiated and based on the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s level of experience at the time of hire. Upon successful completion of the standard training period, a salary review for the position will be conducted at which time the employee\xe2\x80\x99s salary may be adjusted. Eligibility for salary increase is directly determined by the employee\xe2\x80\x99s own demonstrated abilities. All CFS\xe2\x80\x99s salary increase are at the discretion of CFS guidelines.
