Junior Sales Engineer Responsibilities :
Prepare and submit quotes for new and existing customers based on technical requirements and cost analysis
Support inside sales functions including order entry, follow-up, and customer communication
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates using historical data and input from engineering and production
Generate invoices and track billing in coordination with finance and customer service teams
Provide technical support to customers and internal teams regarding product specifications and pricing
Maintain accurate records of customer quotes, purchase orders, and pricing agreements
Monitor customer accounts and proactively follow up on outstanding quotes or sales opportunities
Support the Sales Manager and senior sales engineers in day-to-day activities and customer meetings
Junior Sales Engineer Requirements :
1-2 years of
inside sales experience
(preferably in manufacturing or automotive environment)
Minimum 1-2 years of
cost estimating
experience
General knowledge of
automotive industry standards, components, and processes
Experience with
invoicing and creating customer quotes
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP/CRM systems experience a plus
AS400 experience is an asset
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
