Junior Purchasing Assistant

Job Description
Our client is looking for a Junior Purchasing Assistant to join their team for 1-2 months. If you pride yourself on being an analytical thinker, an excellent problem solver, and someone who enjoys working hard \xe2\x80\x93 read on\xe2\x80\x93 hiring is underway!
Responsibilities:
- Place and track orders for materials requested by suppliers.
- Comply with procurement legislation, contracts, and company policies.
- Exercise independent judgment in procurement practices.
- Work with suppliers, warehouse staff, and planners to resolve any issues and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain documentation, adhering to the established company policies and procedures.
- Diploma or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in the supply chain, Business, Logistics, or Engineering.
- 1+ years of procurement experience in a large complex organization.
- The ability to demonstrate integrity and make well-informed decisions.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional communication skills both verbally and in writing.
