Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Purchaser to join our dynamic purchasing team. In this role, you will assist in the sourcing and purchasing of materials and supplies essential for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of supply chain processes and demonstrate strong negotiation skills. You will work closely with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of quality products that meet our operational needs.

Duties

Assist in the procurement process by sourcing materials and negotiating pricing with vendors. Maintain vendor relationships and manage vendor performance to ensure compliance with company standards. Utilize live inventory platforms to track inventory levels, order status, and purchasing activities. Participate in the development of purchasing strategies that optimize cost savings while maintaining quality standards. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings. Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy in pricing and specifications.

Experience

A background in purchasing of apparel and promotional merchandise with Facilis Group software is highly desirable. Experience in vendor management, sourcing, and negotiation is a plus. Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices will be beneficial. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
