We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of community projects in collaboration with vendors, internal teams, and senior leadership. Reporting to the Project Director and working closely with Senior Project Managers, this role follows established project management methodologies, frameworks, and standard operating procedures.
The Junior Project Manager will assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring all phases of the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk, and stakeholder engagement. This position requires strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Support integration management activities, including contributing to the Project Management Plan, monitoring work, and assisting with change control and project closure.
Assist in defining, validating, and controlling project scope.
Help develop and maintain project schedules, including activity sequencing and duration estimates.
Assist with cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
Support quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control activities.
Contribute to resource planning, team development, and coordination of resource acquisition.
Assist in planning, managing, and monitoring project communications.
Support risk identification, analysis, response planning, and ongoing monitoring.
Assist in identifying and engaging stakeholders, as well as monitoring stakeholder relationships.
Document and manage issues, risks, decisions, and changes in alignment with established processes.
Help prepare project deliverables, including status reports, risk and issue logs, milestone schedules, and stakeholder communications.
Coordinate between internal groups, vendors, and external partners as needed.
