Position Overview



Dream Payments is looking to add to Project Management team with a motivated Junior Project Manger on a 3 month fixed term basis. Reporting in to our lead Project Manager, the Junior Project Manager is accountable on an ongoing basis for guiding projects and implementations in accordnace with our short-term plans and long-term strategy for Dream Payments' cloud and platform services.

Working with a diverse cross-functional team that includes Architecture, Engineering, Product, QA, and Client Services, you will co-ordinate and execute technology projects with long-term organizational goals in mind. You will be hands-on with detailed project work, creating and contributing to project plans and deliverables, co-ordinating activities and tasks, facilitating problem-solving, running stand-ups, and working with team-leads to gather and update estimates. Key Responsibilities



Lead and participate in cultivating a helpful, team oriented environment by collaborating in open knowledge sharing, through in-office whiteboarding sessions and adhoc inter-team discussions. Foster self-organization, cross-functional skills, and effective communication within the Scrum team. Ensure assigned tasks are completed and delivered within the project timelines, working overtime as needed. Facilitate all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. Proactively track Project or Sprint daily activites across the teams. Accurately report status and risks to the Project manager and internal stateholders Work with Project Management team to prepare estimations of development efforts and activities breakdown. Utilize corporate objectives and priorities to ensure teams are working on the right piece of work. Understand Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project management methodology. Be flexible to support projects in the best way to achieve cooperate objectives. Interact with peers before updating supervisors, interaction will often be with management levels at the client and/or within Dream Payments. Receive minimal instruction on daily work tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments. Guide, create and coach the Scrum Team on Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services. Exemplify and promote Agile values and principles, contributing to the continuous improvement of Agile practices. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to influence decision-making and support project or product teams.

Basic Qualifications



Good communication skills - both oral and written. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience. Experience working on agile software development and modern, service design-based product delivery for large organizations or addressing complex challenges at scale. Experience planning work that aligns with product owner priorities (Sprint planning and backlog planning). Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodology. In-depth knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum frameworks and techniques as well as the ability to mentor others in their application of Agile and Scrum. Experience working with teams of 10+ developers and QA teams would be an asset In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks or methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle. Proficiency with Agile development tools such as Zoho Projects, Jira, or similar platforms. Solid understanding of traditional project management principles and practices.

Professional Skill Requirements



Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment. Proven ability to communicate and work with remote teams. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Desire to work in an information systems environment. Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Education background in computer systems and/or engineering considered an asset. Working experience with various SDLC methods like Iterative or traditional waterfall. Familiar with Agile, Scrum, Iterative and Waterfall Development and project methodologies. Scrum Master certification would be an asset Current or previous Scrum Master experience would be an asset Experience supporting multiple teams is an asset
