Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented

Junior Project Manager

to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in millwork, construction, or architecture who wants to grow into a leadership position. You'll play a key role in supporting and managing commercial and institutional millwork projects from award through to final installation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing the full project lifecycle, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and coordination. Liaise with general contractors, designers, and site teams to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Review shop drawings and ensure approval workflows stay on schedule. Coordinate with internal departments including drafting, production, and installation to maintain progress. Monitor project costs and assist with change order estimating, documentation and tracking. Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards, resolve issues, and support the installation team. Ensure all work complies with contract documents and project specifications. Assist in project close-out documentation and warranty coordination.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Architectural Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in millwork, construction, or a related industry (project coordination or site supervision experience an asset). Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and schedules. Familiarity with Procore, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: $42,647.48-$79,190.37 per year
