Summary

We are seeking a motivated

Junior Production Engineer

to join our growing team. This role supports production activities, optimizes workflows, and ensures our quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in manufacturing, exposure to fabrication processes, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing daily production activities. Monitor and analyze production performance, downtime, and efficiency metrics. Provide technical support and troubleshooting on the production floor. Participate in process improvement initiatives, cost reduction projects, and lean manufacturing efforts. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, maintenance, and design. Prepare and maintain production documentation and reports. Support new product trials and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions. Assist in training operators on new processes and best practices.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 2-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Experience with plastic and/or steel fabrication processes preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Basic knowledge of production planning and lean manufacturing. Proficiency in MS Office; SolidWorks familiarity is an asset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
