Junior Product Engineer (Electrical) RainStick is in search of a Junior Product Engineer(Electrical Engineer) to add to our passionate, intellectual, and intuitive team in beautiful Kelowna BC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. RainStick Shower is an innovative and quickly growing Canadian Cleantech company that has already won numerous awards including \xe2\x80\x9cbest of innovation\xe2\x80\x9d at CES 2022 and \xe2\x80\x9cbest of show\xe2\x80\x9d at the Kitchen and Bath Show (KBIS) 2022. RainStick\xe2\x80\x99s technology allows people to shower with 80% less water and up to 80% energy while providing 2X the flow rate. As a Junior Product Engineer, you will be responsible for working on projects from start to finish to develop, refine, certify and pilot/test (QA) technology. You will work closely with our existing team and manufacturer to bring new water technology products to market. Responsibilities for this position include:
Working closely with RainStick\xe2\x80\x99s technical team to test product performance, make product refinements and suggest future product developments
Ensuring compliance and regulations with all products
Supporting requirements setting, and working towards goals and timelines
Supporting strategies for future development projects based on the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall objectives and resources
Implementing innovative technologies
Supporting infield prototype testing, modifications and firmware updates
Working closely with contract manufacturer and production runs
Supporting certification processes
Reporting on an ongoing basis
Preparing, reviewing and analyzing CAD drawings
Your weekly tasks will change but a typical week could look like this:
Coordinating with the product development team to refine or change technological components based on customer feedback
Meeting with Product Support Manager to discuss RainStick technical questions and installations
Meeting with certification consultants
Analyzing product CAD drawings and providing input to the product development team

A bit about you:
You have a degree in electrical engineering
You have 1+ years of hardware product development experience
You have a good working knowledge of CAD
You have experience working with modern quality assurance (QA) methodologies
You have supply chain and manufacturing experience
