Job Description

A leading industrial manufacturer in the energy sector, our client is currently seeking a Jr. Production Planner to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Create production schedules
• Analyze work orders for accuracy
• Provide delivery dates for orders and quotes
• Screen production reports and compare to plans and schedules
• Release jobs for new designs into production through First Article process
• Release new customer orders
• Review material resources plans and identify issues with MRP, transfers, and raw materials
• Evaluate data and reports from production as necessary
• Schedule and manage the movement of materials
• Conduct cycle counts for finished goods
• Identify and analyze causes to losses of inventory
• Maintain accurate and adequate WIP inventory for various stocking programs
• Monitor raw material inventories and forecast demand
• Plan and schedule replenishment jobs
• Assist in troubleshooting purchasing issues
• Review and adjust MRP according to past and future demands / forecasts

Requirements:

• 1 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role
• Highly organized and analytical
• Must be adept at working within tight deadlines, respond quickly to change
• Skilled in planning and coordinating
• Team-player, excellent communicator with demonstrated interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with MS Office Suite
