As a Junior Operator under the direction of the Senior or Intermediate Water Operator, you will participate in activities specific to the drinking water system. Primary duties include:
Learn the components of Water Quality (learn how to take samples, how to perform chlorination) or public health in relation to drinking water.
Learn and execute the processes for maintenance and/or repair of the drinking water system.
Learn and apply components of public health and safety related to drinking water management.
Perform assigned inspection, assessment activities and maintenance activities.
Responsible for assigned repairs to the system infrastructure.
Other duties as assigned.
