Job Summary
Responsibilities for this position include the repair and maintenance of the injection molds following the maintenance schedule. The Tool & Die maker must be proficient in using manual & CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders, as well as basic hand tools. The candidate should possess precision skills, attention to detail, and experience in mold making.
Key Accountabilities:
Troubleshoot and diagnose mold issues to determine the root cause of problems and implement necessary repairs.
Maintain and repair molds in accordance with established repair procedures, drawings & models.
Perform measurements and inspection of mold components using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and optical comparators.
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and production, to ensure molds meet quality standards and production schedules.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in mold making to ensure your and the company's continued success.
