We're growing and looking for a
Junior Mechanical Technologist
to join our engineering and production team. If you're passionate about design, manufacturing, and hands-on problem-solving, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction Manual Creation:
Develop and update user manuals, assembly guides, and product documentation.
Design & Drawings:
Produce and revise 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings using
SolidWorks
.
CNC Table Operations:
Assist in programming, setup, and operation of CNC cutting equipment.
Shop Duties:
Support production with assembly, fabrication, and inspection tasks as needed.
Process Improvements:
Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing efficiency, product design, and documentation.
Welding Knowledge:
Apply understanding of aluminum welding processes to improve design and manufacturability.
Qualifications
Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering Technology
or related field.
Proficiency in
SolidWorks
is required.
Experience with
CNC equipment
is preferred.
Competent with
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Hands-on mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in a shop environment.
Familiarity with
welding processes
, especially aluminum, is an asset.
