TWD is currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Field Engineer candidates to be located in Regina or Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan!

Job Responsibilities

  • Conducting field inspections, measurements and verifications of Process and Mechanical Equipment (PSV\xe2\x80\x99s, Tanks, Piping, Pumps, Compressors etc.)
  • Maintain a database of information collected during site walkdown\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Receiving assignments of limited scope and complexity (usually minor phases of broader assignments). Assist more senior engineers in carrying out technical tasks.
  • Preparation, review and approval of mechanical specifications for processing equipment (e.g., pressure vessels, piping systems and components, pumps, compressors, heat
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of working experience from graduation, with experience in sectors such as mining, O&G or renewables
  • Registration, or eligibility for registration, as an Engineer in Training with APEGS is required
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering theories and principals
  • Beginner to Intermediate skills with drawing tools such as AutoCAD or CAE tools such as Compress, Caesar II etc. are desirable.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and live plant operation
  • Experience with multiple phases of projects including preliminary and detailed design, tendering, construction supervision and commissioning is an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operator\'s License to facilitate independent travel to project sites and other office locations.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
