COMPANY:

Proline Pipe Equipment Inc. specializes in design, manufacture and servicing of heavy duty pipe bending, handling and lifting equipment. We serve customers across the pipeline industry with a commitment to innovation, reliability and customer satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer (EIT) who is passionate about mechanical design and manufacturing. The position plays a key role in enhancing existing equipment and supporting customers.

JOB TITLE:

Junior Mechanical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Junior Mechanical Engineer works closely with the Senior Engineer and Shop Operations Manager on a variety of short and long term projects. In addition, will provide support to the Sales and Service departments, on an as required basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Perform sustaining engineering on existing products lines, under direction of Senior Engineer.

Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, assembly manuals and product specifications.

Create Quotes for pipe bending and provide support to pipe bending personnel.

Develop new equipment designs based on customer requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Create solid models and part drawings using Inventor 2025 program.

Carry out stress analysis of equipment parts and assemblies.

Work closely with shop personnel to provide quick and efficient resolution to assigned tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Registered as Engineer in Training (EIT) with APEGA and working towards obtaining Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation. Proficient using Inventor 2025 program. Proficient using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Excellent communication skills, written and oral. Experience with 3D printing an asset. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on customer/project needs. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally.

Pay: $62,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
