Brief Description:Our employer is a family owned manufacturer looking for either a Senior Millwright or Junior mechanic to join their team. This individual will work to get the job done as this is very hands on which requires to "get your hands dirty".
Job Function:

• Work on various machines machines: paint roller and brush manufacturing, wire bending, form fill seal, plastic injection, thermal / vacuum forming, building maintenance of house and garage doors, lights
• Manage inventory of all the spare parts for all the machines
• Assist in the purchase of supplies and spare parts
• Maintain of all equipment and building
• Other responsibilities shared with team members

• 5-10 years of real-life experience who is both mechanically and electrically inclined.
• Strong mechanical understanding
• Be able to use a Mill, lathe, welder, grinder
• Ability to repair and rebuild parts
• Confident to repair any mechanical component on a machine
• Strong understating of metal and steel and an understanding on how to sharpen bevels and blades
• Sharpening blades and bevellers is a daily task and is part of maintaining our machines
• Strong electrical understanding
• Basic understanding of Ontario electrical codes
• Strong understating of electrical drawings and ability to repair any electrical component on a machine
• Experience in plastic injection preferred but not necessary
• Put up and take down molds
• Maintenance and preventive maintenance on machine and molds
• Ability to program robotics, basic understanding is required (We do not need a programmer who can right code)
