Junior Marketing Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Research
Research and propose blog topics aligned with client brand goals, seasonal campaigns, and SEO strategies.
Write, proofread, and edit engaging blog articles, product descriptions, and web copy.
Assist in developing marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
Curate creative assets (images, videos, graphics) for digital campaigns.
Social Media Management
Develop engaging captions and content calendars for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments/messages, and identify opportunities to grow community interaction.
Track trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to ensure brands remain relevant and competitive.
Assist with influencer outreach and partnership coordination.
Email & Digital Marketing
Build and customize email templates using CRM platforms.
Schedule, monitor, and analyse email campaigns to optimize performance.
Support paid advertising efforts (Google Ads, Meta Ads) by providing creative assets, monitoring performance, and generating reports.
Assist with setting up and tracking remarketing campaigns to improve lead nurturing.
SEO/SEM Support
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content strategy.
Optimize website pages, blogs, and product listings for search engine and AI visibility.
Update and maintain Google Business Profiles and directory listings.
Support link-building and off-page SEO strategies.
Analytics & Reporting
Track performance of campaigns across all channels (social, web, email, paid).
Assist in preparing monthly marketing reports and presentations with actionable insights.
Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and social media dashboards to provide data-driven recommendations.
Project Coordination
Manage timelines and deliverables using project management tools.
Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and external vendors to execute campaigns.
Support client communications, including drafting updates, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings.
Maintain brand guidelines across all touchpoints to ensure consistency.
Administrative & Team Support
Maintain digital file libraries, asset management, and campaign archives.
Assist with research on new tools, platforms, and marketing trends.
Provide general support to the marketing team on ad hoc projects.
Help organise company or client events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
1-2 years of experience in a marketing, digital media, or communications role (internships and co-op placements count).
Marketing & Digital Skills
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities for blogs, web, and social media.
Familiarity with SEO and SEM best practices (keyword research, on-page optimization, link-building).
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar).
Basic knowledge of paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) considered an asset.
Understanding of content management systems (Shopify, WordPress, or similar).
Technical & Analytical Skills
Comfortable using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, social media dashboards).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.
Experience with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or similar) is a plus.
Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing improvements.
Social Media & Design
Knowledge of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
