POSITION OVERVIEW:
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an enthusiastic Junior Marketer to join our Revenue Department \xe2\x80\x93 someone who will bring their energy and creative ideas to the table to help achieve our goals. The Globe Media Group Junior Marketer\xe2\x80\xafwill work cross functionally to support our Trade Marketing and Globe Content Studio teams with marketing programs, including but not limited to: Globe Content Studio content and social media marketing, Trade Marketing communications campaigns, product Go-To-Market execution, and virtual events.

As a Junior Marketer, you will collaborate with our teams to produce and execute a strategic marketing plan for a product launch, create and promote content aligned to our brand voice and pillars, and you won\'t be shy about sharing your ideas. You\xe2\x80\x99re the right fit for this job if you have strong opinions about the dos and don\xe2\x80\x99ts of posting on social media, love to see a project through from start to finish, and feel excited at the prospect of being the voice of a brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Help execute and manage a major go-to-market launch for Globe Media Group\xe2\x80\x99s data product
  • Manage brand building and organic social posting for Globe Content Studio
  • Write and produce content, including but not limited to blog posts and videos that showcase our brands, products, services and thought leadership
  • Create content amplification strategies that can be executed across the web and social platforms, for both GMG and GCS brands
  • Support top of mind awareness and consideration of advertising with The Globe and Mail
  • Learn from and collaborate with colleagues from across the team to help grow and differentiate the Globe Media Group brand in Canada
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong desire to learn with ambitious professional drive \xe2\x80\x93 you\'re eager to get the most out of this experience, making as many connections and developing as many skills as possible
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as attention to detail \xe2\x80\x93 you\'re the one people ask to look over their important emails before pressing send
  • Ability to decipher complicated topics to write in simple language \xe2\x80\x93 communication and clarity are your fort\xc3\xa9
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) \xe2\x80\x93 you rarely go a day without posting on your own accounts
  • Ability to prioritize projects with competing asks and interests - your to-do list is your best friend, and you know how to manage deadlines
  • Team player fueled by curiosity that takes initiative to identify opportunities to evolve and improve efforts and ways of working \xe2\x80\x93 you put your hand up whenever there\xe2\x80\x99s an opportunity to grow
  • Currently completing a College Diploma or University Degree in marketing, communications, business or equivalent

VACCINATION POLICY:
