Position: Junior Lawyer / New Call to the Bar
Practice Area: Family Law (Primary) and Criminal Law (Secondary)
We are seeking a motivated junior lawyer or newly called lawyer for a long-term position in a growing practice, with a primary focus on family law and some exposure to criminal law matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Appear in court on a regular basis, including motions, conferences, and routine appearances Assist with and manage family law and criminal law files under supervision Conduct legal research and remain current with legislative changes and case law development.
Language Skills:
Ability to speak or understand Punjabi, Hindi, or Urdu is an asset but not mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Commission, Permanent
Contract length: 60 months
Pay: $48,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
