About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on

Junior Lab Assistant

to join our hardware development team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about hands-on assembly and laboratory work. You'll play a key role in supporting the hardware assembly team, prototyping, testing, and maintenance of hardware components in a dynamic lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical hardware using hand tools, scales and flow testing devices and software. Assist in testing and troubleshooting prototypes and production units. Maintain lab inventory and ensure availability of components and tools. Document assembly procedures, test results, and modifications. Support engineers and technicians during product development and testing. Ensure lab cleanliness and compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or technical certificate in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field. Good understanding of electronics and mechanical systems. Experience using hand tools, scales, lap top computers, and other mechanical equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Ability to read plans and diagrams. Previous experience in hardware assembly or lab support. Experience in laboratory settings is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Familiarity with quality control processes and methodologies. Proficient math skills for engineering calculations.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
