he successful candidate should have:A two-year Early Childhood Education Diploma Experience planning and assessing inquiry/play based, developmentally appropriate programming Experience working with Indigenous families Ability to collaborate with and lead a classroom team Proven ability to communicate effectively and work independently Experience working in pre-school or junior kindergarten setting Evidence of ongoing professional learning related to child development, including behaviour and social emotional development Experience with competency-based assessment Experience working with students with complex needs Employs a culturally-responsive, trauma informed, strengths-based philosophy The ability to be a positive team-player Experience with or willingness to learn how to use various AAC devices Trained in First Aid and CPR
