We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems and components of our mechatronics products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, vehicle communication protocols, as well as experience in product development and testing.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom electrical systems and PCBs for the vehicle mechatronics system.
Design circuits for actuators, sensors, displays and networking.
Create harness schematics for an robotic/ automotive environment
Develop a custom connector for our system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product design and development meets customer requirements.
Research, evaluate and prototype proof of concept systems using emerging technologies.
Develop and execute testing protocols to ensure product performance and reliability.
Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in electrical engineering and product development for embedded systems.
Strong knowledge of end to end PCB design, block diagrams, part selection, schematic capture and layout.
Experience with designing digital, analog and power circuits.
Knowledge of working with simulation and design tools such as LTSpice.
Proficiency in electrical design software, such as Altium Designer.
Experiences with automotive protocols such as CAN.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Requirements:
Test and manufacturing experience for electronics at scale.
Experience with Python and C/C++ programming for embedded systems (particularly for NXP S32K).
Knowledge of designing harnesses for operating in harsh conditions.
