IN SEARCH OF Junior Interior Designer or Architectural AutoCAD technician who excels in completing Interior Design drawing packages with strong knowledge of BCBC. WHO WE ARE The Collaborative Design Studio is a full-service Interior Design firm based in Coquitlam. We specialize in multi-family home developments, presentation centres and display homes. We successfully collaborate with builders, developers, Architects, marketing companies and homeowners on our projects. We are a small group that approaches each new project as an exciting creative opportunity. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS \xc2\xb7 A team player \xe2\x80\x93 flexible, cooperative and able to collaborate with others \xc2\xb7 Self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects and a variety of tasks \xc2\xb7 Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines AND ALSO HAS \xc2\xb7 A diploma or degree from a recognized Interior Design or Architectural Drafting program \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with the BC Building Code \xc2\xb7 Exceeds in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office \xc2\xb7 Ability to complete full construction drawing and specification packages \xc2\xb7 Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language \xc2\xb7 Experience in Multi-Family (not required but would be an asset!) \xc2\xb7 A driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and access to a vehicle WHAT WE ARE OFFERING A position working with and supporting our Design team. We offer a challenging and comfortable work environment, with exposure to a wide range of projects and duties. This position will initially be within our Coquitlam office but may progress to a combination of working in office and from home. Hours are flexible.
