The Junior HR Assistant will support the HR Manager in recruitment, policy updates, time and attendance tracking, and HRIS management. This role emphasizes working with diverse teams and First Nations communities to foster an inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with recruitment and job postings.
Support HR policy updates and revisions.
Track employee time and attendance for payroll processing.
Maintain HR files, records, and documentation.
Assist with employee offboarding and support employee relations.
Help with HR reporting and maintaining compliance.
Assist in coordinating training sessions and workshops.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous HR experience, preferably in an Indigenous or diverse workplace.
Knowledge of HRIS systems, recruitment, and timekeeping.
Experience with Indigenous communities or First Nations organizations preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
Work Conditions
Full-time, on-site.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Salary: Based on experience.
